HISTORY:
Born on January 22nd 1989, Aislynn was the second born daughter of Randy and Amelia Chariot, who had been married for twenty years. Happily married wasn't anywhere near how you would have described them, as Randy was abusive and beat Amelia and Jessica, who was Aislynn's older sister.
For some reason, over the years, Randy never laid a finger on Aislynn. She always put it down to that she had never given him need to, but in truth it wasn't that at all. Randy loved his second daughter, as she was the spitting image of him. He never wanted to hurt her and would do anything to make her happy. He would have stopped beating Amelia and Jessica if he had known that was what his daughter wanted, but she never said anything because she was too young. She was just too naive.
As time went on, the beatings got worse for the two older women. Aislynn was now 14 and was enjoying herself at high school. Her friends didn't know about her home life and they didn't need to. They just knew she was unhappy, so they did everything they could to cheer her up. The problem was that she was making the wrong sort of friends due to her upbringing and she had become a part of the bullying circle in school. The one girl they bullied most of all was Barbie Lee, a freshman who was nothing like what her name says about her. She was short, quite chubby and wore heavy makeup that never matched her skin tone. This girl had acne all over her face and everyone teased her for being ugly, but not as much as Aislynn and her friends. Barbie got teased by the girls so much that she actually took her own life, but Aislynn never knew until much later because Barbie had first moved to Chicago with her family. Aislynn and her friends were glad to see the back of her and they celebrated that weekend. They took Aislynn to parties, invited her to their houses for makeovers and sleepovers and even drank alcohol from their parents' liquor cabinets. Her doting father always said yes, as he could never disappoint her. His love for her was more of an obsession and he was beginning to go even more insane by the day. It was one night, when Aislynn was sleeping at a friend's house, that Randy flew off the handle at his wife and older daughter and raged. Only by the end of it did it all become apparent; His first born, Jessica, had been killed by her own father.
When Aislynn found out, she was heartbroken, but she wouldn't tell her father because she didn't think he would listen to her. She knew he listened to her about most things, but she didn't want to push her luck.
Going back to school was difficult, as her friends had moved on from her in the time she had taken off school to mourn the loss of her sister. It was only then that she realized they never really were her friends at all. They were just looking for an experiment to spice their lives up. She was just the shiny new toy for those girls and the novelty had worn off. Luckily, a boy in the year above caught her crying in the courtyard one morning and he came and sat with her and just put his arm around her, holding her close and making sure that she didn't suffer alone, even if he had no idea what she was crying about.
The boy was revealed to be Aidrian Mathis and he soon became Aislynn's best friend. They did everything together up until the week before graduation, when Aidrian had told her he loved her and she had politely turned him down, despite her better judgement. She had ruined their friendship and a chance of a relationship and Adrian never spoke to her again. She became angry with herself over this turn of events and it only got worse when her father finally killed her mother the day she graduated. She had been receiving her diploma at the time her mother was murdered, so she wasn't there to stop it, but when she got home, she grabbed her things and ran away from the monster that called himself her father. She slept in a hostel, got herself a waitressing job and tried to make a living, but she kept getting more and more depressed. It wasn't long before she started spending time with tramps and users, only to get dragged into drug use herself. Heroin injections, to be precise. She had hit rock bottom and she thought she would never get back up again, so she even attempted suicide. She was fired from her waitressing job and was left living on the streets with no money for food, drink or drugs. She was on the verge of dying when she was taken into hospital.
It was there, in Humber River Regional Hospital, that she met her therapist. His name was Dr. Sam and he taught her his ways. Once she was ready, she accepted and her time as a patient had begun.
